“The Blown Spot”

Just a week before “Here Come the Hatchet Boys” and Elite Pro Wrestling arrive in The Founder’s Center of Frankfort, Illinois, ETV is bringing you all the action you need for the next 7 days.

In the unrivaled and unfortunately true words of Elite Pro Wrestling’s very own World Television Champion, Brandon Thomaselli, “Martin [Jones] came up ehh just a little, ehh maybe way short” last week on Elite TV. In an earth shaking display of power Jay Jensen not only taught the rookie, Jones, to respect his elders, but also to fear them as he systematically beat the newest edition to the Elite Pro roster down. With a flurry of forearms Jensen gave the newcomer a new definition of pain and finally hitting Jones with his Dragon Suplex, was able to get a quick fall on the youngster.

As Jones told Elite Television earlier, “Ever since Hogan slammed Andre I knew from that moment that I needed to be and wanted to be a Professional Wrestler.” But as we all saw last week on ETV, even Andre the Giant did not take not take as much of a pounding as Martin Jones did. However this beating did not waiver Jones’ spirit or his aspirations of being a professional wrestler. As soon as he came to he offered Jensen a handshake in respect of his former teacher and in honor of a hard fought match, but to the dismay of not only myself and the audience, but also the Wrestlers in the back, Jensen refused to shake Martin’s hand saying that Jones did even belong in the same ring as him.

This preempted the always quick moving and quick thinking Ben Jordan to leave his normal spot as the voice of Elite Pro Wrestling and come down to the ring to get Jones’ reaction to the situation. Still determined, Jones, rallied support from the hundreds of fans in attendance, who were all behind the new star. This set the stage for the rematch of the student vs. the teacher this week on ETV.

Next out is the always-charismatic Brandon Thomaselli donning his brand new World Television Championship. Brandon won the title two months ago at Elite Pro Wrestling’s “Grand Finale” in Oak Forest, Illinois. In a heroic effort of epic proportions Brandon Thomaselli won the final $600 6-Man Tag Match beating, Mike Horning, Jay Jensen, Jeff King, Corporal Robinson, and finally Ash, to become the first ever Elite Pro World Television Champion. However this week, Brandon faces another Wrestler starving to put some gold around his waist, newcomer to the Elite Pro ring, the masked man, Elmer Smith.

With the thunderous crowd fully behind him Thomaselli made short work of the man in the mask hitting him with not one, not two, but four of his finishing maneuvers to retain his coveted title and make Smith think twice before stepping into the ring with Brandon Thomaselli again.

While one Thomaselli is on top of his game and holding gold around his waist the other two brothers are in far different situations. After spending a week trying to get in touch with Sal, Elite Pro Wrestling was finally informed that he was not going to be able to compete for sometime after being taken out by “Sex, Drugs, and Wrestling” [Ash and Kris Chambers] and their new mentor, Sal’s own brother, Vito Thomaselli. Vito and his new allies launched a vicious surprise attack on Sal in the same Elite Ring where the brothers used to reign supreme as “The Iron Saints”. But now, with no one knowing when Sal will make his return to action, Vito has used his persuasive abilities to align himself with one of the most exciting young tag teams in the business, Ash and Kris Chambers, “Sex, Drugs, and Wrestling”.

While some might question the motives behind Chambers and Ash allying themselves with someone like Vito Thomaselli, no one can question the results. With Vito’s cunning help, “Sex, Drugs, and Wrestling” was able to score a pinfall victory over the current Elite Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Team W.A.R. [Acid and Synn]. This has lead “Sex, Drugs, and Wrestling” to get their first chance at Tag Team gold next week at Elite Pro Wrestling’s “Here Come the Hatchet Boys” live in Frankfort, Illinois this Saturday, April 19th.

With that said, we also can’t forget that Martin Jones will once again be in action against Jay Jensen on the 19th. This week on ETV he got his rematch promising fans he could last ten minutes against his former instructor Jensen. It seemed to be Martin’s night as he came out with enough passion and intensity to fill the 18 square foot ring, but unfortunately for Martin he never even made it there as Jensen launched a backstabbing attack as Jones made his entrance blaming the fans for his spiteful actions and telling everyone this would be the last time they would ever see Martin Jones in an Elite Pro ring.

After whaling on Jones on the outside and all over the arena for what seemed like an eternity, Jensen finally rolled the battered and bruised fan favorite back into the ring so the match could begin. But with the sound of the bell and the cheering of all his fans Martin quickly hit Jensen with a flurry of offense that sent Jay reeling. Using his quick instincts to counter what is normally a powerful assault from Jensen, Martin was able to hit some high impact moves and score a number of near falls on his teacher. But the momentum must have clouded Jones’ judgment as he made his way to the top, only to miss a high risk leg drop, which turned out to be the only opening that the veteran Jensen needed to take over the match and choke Jones out. Even after the bell rang numerous times Jensen still sat with his choke wrenching down on Jones’ throat cutting off air to the rookie. It wasn’t until Jensen had confirmed that Martin lost consciousness did he relinquish his hold on the rookie. He then chased the referees, who were coming to Jones’ aid, and set the hold back on Martin and made the camera watch as he proclaimed Martin Jones’ career as dead, all to the deafening boos of the packed crowd.

These heinous acts by Jay Jensen lead the Elite Pro Booking Officials to let Martin Jones get a chance at revenge on April 19th in Frankfort, Illinois. At “Here Come the Hatchet Boys” Jones will take on Jensen in a 10-minute challenge match, where a countdown clock will be set to 10 minutes and if Jones can score a victory within that time period, or survive the whole 10 minutes, he will win the match. Jensen is taking this as a personal slap in the face, saying that no one could last 10 minutes in the ring with “The Real Deal” especially Jones. The only question left in this feud is, does Martin Jones have what it takes to last in the ring with the man responsible for his training? That question and many many more will be answered in the weeks to come.

Until then, don’t miss next weeks episode of ETV or “Here Come the Hatchet Boys” on April 19th as Elite Pro Wrestling makes its debut at the Frankfort Founder’s Center in Frankfort, Illinois and make sure to visit EliteProWrestling.com for further updates and all your news and media desires.
